Akshay Kumar again comes forward, donates 3Cr to BMC

With each passing day the number of positive cases are increasing. Every individual is doing their bit to help the government in fight against coronavirus. Bollywood is not behind, while some actors are contributing in various relief funds, others looking after various essential that should reach the needy. Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar after donating a whopping amount of 25 Cr in PM relief fund, has again pledged to donate 3 Cr.

Akshay will be donating this 3 Cr to BMC for mass production of PPE kits and safety guards for health workers, who are helping the country in fight against coronavirus. As soon as, Akshay came to know that the city is lacking in producing PPE kits he pledged to donate 3Cr.

The BMC joint municipal commissioner, Ashutosh Salil, too reportedly confirmed to the publication that the superstar contacted the BMC commissioner to make the donation. He informed that Akshay’s money would go into the general fund and will be used while producing the essential protection equipment for health workers.

This is not the first time Akshay came forward to help the country, Akshay is known for his humanitarian work. Earlier also he has donated whopping amount on Bharat ke Veer, and has done many more charitable works. Akshay is constantly seen spreading awareness and thanking the health workers in his social media.
