AK Vs AK controversy

Just Before the release of AK Vs AK starring Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor and director Anurag Kashyap, the film has sparked a new controversy. IAF (India Air force) is not happy with the way the uniform (IAF) is portrayed and the use of the language in the scene.

What’s actually the matter ?

Anil Kapoor shared a short video from his upcoming film AK Vs AK. In the video you can see Anil wearing the IAF uniform and using some derogatory language. Though the video is sarcastic one, IAF (Indian Air force) took to their twitter to show the displeasure with this particular scene.

Here is IAF’s tweet, “The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn.”

IAF requested the makers to remove this particular scene. Now Netflix India have issued a clarification on this matter. According to the streaming giant, it had no intention to hurt the Indian Armed Forces. In the film Anil Kapoor is playing himself and in no way the character’s behaviour represent the behaviour of the personal in Armed forces.
