34 top production houses including Ajay, SRK & Salman files defamation case against certain media houses

A civil suit has been filed by top 34 production houses and 4 film association against certain media channels for portraying Bollywood in a wrong way.

The Entire Bollywood has now filed a defamation case against certain media channels for using derogatory words, comments and Portraying the Industry as a horrible place in public eye. A civil suit has been filed today in Delhi High Court by 34 big Production houses and 4 Bollywood Industry Association. Big names like Akshay Kumar, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are also included in the list.

Since the untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput, Bollywood came into the radar of media houses and the public. The media trials and invasion of personal privacy raised a lot of criticism and Backlash now the civil suit against Republic TV Arnab Goswami, Mr Pradeep Bhandari, Times Now Mr. Rahul Shivshankar and Navika Kumar.

The media coverage after the actor’s death has raised a lot of criticism, while some people supported it, some opposed it but words like ‘dirt’, ‘filth’, ‘druggies’, ‘centre of cocaine and LSD’ and accusing the Bollywood personalities without proper proofs have lead to this situation.

There are two sides of the story, while some have full faith on the media channels and believe they will provide justice to the late actor and find the culprits , the other side believe the media channels are just using the stars name to gain trp.

The death of Sushant Singh Rajput resulted to an outrage in the country. People came out in road to protest against the Industry and blamed it’s people for the actors death. The Social media is flooded with hate messages and tweets for Bollywood stars.

Since past few months we have witnessed the perception of people for Bollywood Industry has changed drastically. Boycott of films and stars started trending across all social media platforms. Many big celebration were trending for all the wrong reasons prooved or unprooved.

In lawsuit filed against the two media channels, it has been clearly mentioned, ““refrain from making or publishing irresponsible, derogatory and defamatory remarks against Bollywood and its members”.
